The letter below was submitted to the Minister of AI and Digital Innovation, and to Industry, Science, and Economic Development Canada, on October 31, 2025. It was later also submitted to the House of Commons Standing Committee on Access to Information, Privacy and Ethics (ETHI) Study on Challenges Posed by Artificial Intelligence and Regulation, in March 2026.
By request, the letter was re-opened for continued endorsements in November 2025, through the sign-on form here, and closed again on the last day of the consultation submission window, on March 23, 2026.
